A football is one of the few objects recognized almost everywhere on earth. It moves across borders, languages, generations, and cultures, carrying memories of childhood, competition, belonging, aspiration, and identity. For billions of people, it is far more than a game.

For Chapter One, eleven contemporary artists were invited to reimagine this universal object through their own visual languages. The works presented here exist between sculpture and symbol, artifact and instrument, culture and consequence.

This exhibition marks the beginning of IMAZ, a cultural platform that brings together artists, creators, and communities to transform cultural production into tangible impact. While football serves as the point of departure, the deeper inquiry asks how culture can extend beyond representation to create real change in the world.

Each work in this exhibition contributes directly to the construction of a home for a family in Ecuador.

These objects ask a simple question:
What happens when something we value culturally begins to generate value beyond itself?

Collect Culture. Create Change.
